Sport Ecology
As a scientific researcher in sport ecology, my work revolves around quantifying the impacts of sports and athletes on our environment, and vice versa. To achieve this, I am developing a method to extrapolate activity data from athletes on outdoor platforms across large areas. Through this, I aim to determine the location factors that attract sports enthusiasts. Additionally, I model and quantify the introduction of microplastics into the environment by athletes based on these frequencies.
